METHOD FOR GUIDING AND CONTROLLING DRONE USING INFORMATION FOR CONTROLLING CAMERA OF DRONE

A method for guiding and controlling a drone using information for controlling a camera of the drone according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) controlling zoom of a gimbal camera by a zoom controller of a camera control unit so as to control the vertical axis of the drone by controlling the elevation and speed of the drone through a corresponding camera control signal; and (b) controlling the angle of the drone by an angle controller of the camera control unit so as to control the horizontal axis of the drone. The present invention can be applied only by modification of software while system configurations of a general drone are maintained, has an advantage in that the mission flight of a drone can be performed only using a camera controller, and can automatically control speed, elevation, a flight path, and the like when continuously tracking a specific target using a camera, which improves convenience and tracking performance.
