In the present disclosure, friction stir welding tools (3a, 3b) provided with a probe and a fixed shoulder are disposed at corners (c1, c2) between a first workpiece (W1) and a second workpiece (W2). A welding device main body (2) is provided, on a frame (10), with units (11, 13) for movement in a direction orthogonal to an axis for performing movement of main axial units (7a, 7b), which hold the respective friction stir welding tools (3a, 3b), in a direction orthogonal to the probe axis of rotation and units (12, 14) for movement in a direction of an axis for performing movement in a direction parallel to the probe axis of rotation. |
