The invention relates to a filter device for air-duct housings in ventilation, heating or air-conditioning systems of vehicles, which filter device has a filter which is accommodated in a filter box and comprises two filter elements lying next to each other and has a restricted access opening for the exchange of the filter elements in a direction transverse to the filter axis. In order to make it easier to exchange the filter the two filter elements each have a longitudinal side which runs at an acute angle with respect to the direction of exchange and the said elements are inserted in such a manner into the filter box that these longitudinal sides face each other.
