High-power portable sound rig consisting of a briefcase VA comprising a mixing table and variable sound sources mounted on a metal frontplate. The rig being pre-cabled and connected by a single cable F1 to the speaker HP1 via a removable latched plug V1. A speaker HP1 together with the power amplifier, the general power supply, the built-in loudspeakers, requiring for its connection only a mains cable S1 and the single cable F1 connecting the briefcase to the speaker. A single on/off switch C1 on the mixing table remotely controls all of the power supplies. The addition of a second speaker HP2 is possible. It remotely controls the stereo function by connecting its single cable F2 and its latched plug V2 to the second input of the briefcase VA. The mains supply to HP2 being effected by the cable S2. The present invention is a simple high-power sound-rigging device for organisations. <IMAGE>
