A region (3') of the support plate (3), which region is supported on the ski (1), is connected to the ski in at least three zones (5, 6, 7) lying adjacent in the longitudinal direction of the ski, in a manner which is proof against torsion, this connection being inflexible in the transverse direction and vertical direction of the ski and, in addition, inflexible in the longitudinal direction of the ski in one zone only.
