LARGE SIZE WINCH FOR MARINE CRANE

The present invention relates to a large winch with reinforced hardness for a marine crane. When a winding drum brakes or decelerates, a caliper brake which is a primary brake device is hydraulically attached to a gear disk rotating with a drive motor to control rotation of the winding drum. A band brake which is a secondary brake device hydraulically and efficiently controls the rotation of the winding drum. A ratchet brake unit which is a tertiary brake device hydraulically brings a pawl into contact with a ratchet wheel to prevent reverse rotation of the winding drum to improve braking and decelerating performance. A lattice-type rib and a base plate are disposed on a lower portion of a base structure. A drive motor support bracket for supporting the drive motor comprises a disk and a vertical rib vertically formed and radially arranged on the disk to secure sufficient hardness for a large weight by enlargement.
