Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a processor and a memory. When the memory is executed, the memory can include a command for performing operations of: obtaining an image for generating a highlight video from multiple pieces of content; generating matching information between the highlight video and the multiple pieces of content; and generating the highlight video based on the obtained image and the matching information. In addition, the matching information can include at least one piece of information among original file information, time information and place information, which are related to the obtained image. The present invention can effectively provide a user with original file information. Besides, various embodiments which are understood via the present specification can be possible.
