The present invention relates to an excavating device used for a pipe propulsion method capable of constructing an underground structure such as a tunnel, an underground passage, a common duct, and the like by press-fitting and propelling a steel pipe into the ground without excavation. An inclined protrusion unit (41) and a reciprocating block (45) are able to be in contact with each other by forming the inclined protrusion unit (41) in a rear part of a drill bit (11) mounted on a leading end of a head pipe (10), and installing the reciprocating block (45) inside the leading end of the head pipe (10); thereby being able to rotate a central shaft of the drill bit (11). According to the present invention, a central angle of the drill bit (11) of the excavating device is freely adjustable; thereby freely adjusting an excavating direction during a case of excavating using the pipe propulsion method. |
