The present invention relates to the cosmetic use by the topical route of a Tapirira guianensis extract, for stimulating the expression of perlecan and/or dystroglycan and/or VE-cadherin and/or claudin-5, in particular in the extracellular matrix and/or in the epithelial basement membrane, especially the dermoepidermal junction.;It also relates to a cosmetic care method comprising the application, to at least one concerned area of healthy skin and/or healthy mucous membrane and/or healthy scalp, of a Tapirire guianensis extract or of a cosmetic composition comprising such an extract for stimulating the expression of perlecan and/or dystroglycan and/or VE-cadherin and/or claudin-5, in particular in the extracellular matrix and/or in the epithelial basement membrane, especially the dermoepidermal junction.;In addition, it relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a Tapirira guianensis extract and a topically acceptable cosmetic excipient.;Finally, it relates to a Tapirira guianensis extract or a dermatological composition comprising a Tapirira guianensis extract and a dermatologically acceptable excipient for use by the topical route in the treatment and/or prevention of rosacea, telangiectasia and/or pathologies of the oral and/or ocular mucous membranes. |
