PURPOSE:To prevent curling and save electric power by setting the set temperature of a roller lower in the fixation of the 1st surface than in the fixation of the 2nd surface, and making the contacting pressure of the roller lower in the fixation of the 2nd surface lower than in the fixation of the 1st surface. CONSTITUTION:The stop position where a recessed part 64 is detected by a sensor 61 in the 1st surface copying of both-surface copying operation is regarded as the 1st stop position. Only a main heating body 53a is powered on and the set surface temperature of the fixing roller 51 is controlled to 170 deg.C. The stop position where a recessed part 63 is detected by the sensor 61 as in the 2nd surface copying is regarded as the 2nd stop position. The main heat source 53a and an auxiliary heat source 53b are both powered on with the signal of the copy start of the 2nd surface and the set temperature is raised up to 190 deg.C. There is a difference in roller press contacting force between the fixation at the 1st position and the fixation at the 2nd position, and the press contacting force of the fixation at the 1st position is larger than that at the 2nd position. |
