The present invention relates to a telescopic street light which comprises a lighting lamp and a cover in an upper end of a telescopic pole formed by combining a plurality of air cylinders. The pole contracts in the day time when the street light is not used to accommodate the lighting lamp in a space of a lower body of the pole and a cover is closely attached to an upper part of the lower body. The pole automatically elongates by operating a small-sized compressor and maintains a specific height to illuminate the street. According to the present invention, the possibility of flooding or electric shock is reduced even if it rains or snows since the street light and the pole are accommodated in the space of the lower body when the lighting lamp is not in use. Also, the beauty of a city is improved by solving a problem that a fixation pole spoils the beauty of buildings around the street or a problem that a variety of placards or advertisements are hung on the pole. |
