According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for displaying an elasticity image which obtains an elasticity image having a good quality from elasticity images. The method includes the steps of: transmitting an ultrasonic signal to a target object and receiving a response signal to the transmitted ultrasonic signal; obtaining ultrasonic image data based on the received response signal; obtaining displacement image data based on the obtained ultrasonic image data; generating a plurality of elasticity images based on the obtained displacement image data; dividing the elasticity images into a plurality of sections based on a predetermined criterion; generating a representative elasticity image representing the section based on at least one elasticity image included in the section and quality information corresponding to the at least one elasticity image; and displaying the representative elasticity image on a display, wherein the quality information includes information about a strain of the elasticity image.
