The invention relates to a safety stopper (1) for recipients likely to be subjected to internal pressure comprising: - a fixing unit (2) mounted in a detachable manner on the recipient, serving as a support and as sealing seat for a valve (10) mounted such that it is axially mobile under the effect of the internal pressure existing in the recipient, - an actuating means (22) associated with the valve (10), - an external cap (30) mounted such that it freely rotates on the fixing unit (2) and internally comprising protrusions (35) intended to be engaged by the actuating means (22) when the valve (10) is in the low stopped position, such that in the low stopped position of the valve (10) the rotation of the cap (30) causes the rotation of the fixing unit (2), whilst in the case of excess pressure, corresponding to the high stopped position, the cap (30) is uncoupled from the said unit characterised in that the valve (10) is provided in its lower section with a deformable annular seal (40) forming a skirt integral with the fixing unit (2) and with the valve (10).
