PURPOSE:To effectively carry out sterilization by providing a humidifying means at an upstream side of a dust removing filter, a means for producing ozone gas supplied to the dust removing filter and an ozone deodorizing/sterilizing means for decomposing the ozone gas at the downstream side of the dust removing filter. CONSTITUTION:Room air is introduced into air passage pH through an air inlet 11a by rotatively driving a fun M43 of a blower M4, dust particles having large diameters are collected by a primary filter a2, and the room air effects heat exchange with air at heat exchange fins a3 before the room air flows to the downstream side. An ozonizer M11 produces ozone gas, which is then mixed with the air in the passage pH in the downstream side of the heat exchange fins a3. After the mixed gas has passed through a humidifier main body M31, dust as well as bacteria, mold and the like in the air is collected by a dust removing filter M21 and the air is humidified by a humidifying means M3. The ozone gas mixed with the air reacts on the collected bacteria, mold and the like and part of the ozone decomposes to effect deodorization and sterilization. The remaining ozone gas is made to decompose by an ozone decomposing catalyst M12 and reacts on bad smelling matter to effect deodorization. |
