CONNECTION STATE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To allow a repeater to grasp a current connection state stored in its own repeater accurately in a short time by providing a state management cell generating section to a terminator and a state management processing section to the repeater respectively. CONSTITUTION:A state management cell generating section 11 in a terminator 1 generates a connection state management cell based on data in a database 41 in which connection attribute information is stored and send the cell to a repeater 2. When a state management cell processing section 21 in the repeater 2 recognizes the cell to be the connection state management cell, the section 21 copies it to a storage section. Each repeater grasps attribute information at a current point of time of the connection stored in its own repeater by refering to the connection state management cell in the processing section 21.
