PURPOSE:To provide a DC motor controller which can detect the current value of a true drive current flowing through a motor drive circuit without being affected by a large transient current and a small transient current. CONSTITUTION:After transistors 15 and 16 are turned on to rotate a motor in forward direction, a specific voltage is applied to a resistor for an upper-limit current for setting the upper-limit current value obtained by operation and then standby (S13, S14: NO) is enabled until a count value T of a timer reaches a specific value TO and then the output of an operational amplifier is read (S15) when the count value T exceeds the specific time TO (S14: Yes), thus detecting a true drive current without detecting a large transient current generated along with the switching-on of the transistor 15. |
