METHOD FOR DIVIDING INPUT TEXT IN WORD

PURPOSE: To precisely partition words by identifying all the words in an input text and analyzing the overlapped words into the adjacent words by means of a filter processing. CONSTITUTION: The input text is read (step 1) and characters are sequentially compared with the words of a dictionary and the matched words are stored (step 2). The other words are eliminated by leaving the words at the start point of the input text or immediately after the other words and are at the end point of the input text or immediately before the other words among the stored words (step 3). Then, the other words are eliminated by leaving the words at the start point of the input text or immediately after the other remaining words and at the end point of the input text or immediately before the other remaining words among the words remaining in a storage area (step 6). Thus, the continuous input texts is efficiently and precisely partitioned.
