<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper money discriminating device which is capable of discriminating the authenticity of a coupon ticket with bar code. CONSTITUTION:The discrimination carrier control circuit 40 of this paper money discriminating device with bar code sensor is provided with a magnetic detection circuit receiving the output of a magnetic sensor 20 and detecting the magnetic components of paper money, an optical detection circuit receiving the output of optical sensors 21 to 26 and detecting the bar code on paper sheet and a bar code storage circuit storing a prescribed bar code pattern. The optical detection circuit compares the bar code of paper sheet read from the optical sensors 21 to 26 with the bar code patterns stored in the bar code storage circuit, and imparts a driving signal to a carrier device 16 and moves paper sheet to an exhaust port 14 when these coincide, and the discriminating of either of paper money and paper sheet with bar code becomes possible.</p> |
