PURPOSE:To provide a cooling system of AC magnet using oxide superconducting wire capable of being miniaturized without using liquid helium at all yet continuing AC operation. CONSTITUTION:The cooling system is composed of the second cooling stage 7 stuck on the second stage cryohead 9 of a refrigerator 1, a superconducting magnet 2 fixed on said stage 7 to be formed by winding with an oxide superconducting wire, a thermal shielding vessel 3 containing the magnet 2 to be connected to a vacuum source, the first cooling stage 14 stuck on the first cryohead 25 of the refrigerator 1, a radiation shielding vessel 4 containing the thermal shielding vessel 3 stuck on the stage 14, current leads 6 having oxide superconductor for connecting the secound cooling stage 7 to the first cooling stage 14 to feed the superconducting magnet 2 with a current as well as a vacuum vessel 5 containing the radiation shielding vessel 4 to be connected to the vacuum source. |
