摘要 PURPOSE:To sharply lengthen the time necessary until a chort circuit is made in a cell, and thereby maintain cell performance for a long time by providing an arrest layer which prevents prime fine particles for an oxidizing agent electrode from floating and dispersing into an electrolyte layer. CONSTITUTION:A fuel electrode 2 composed of a porous nickel sintered body and the like is disposed in one surface of an electrolyte layer 1 so as to be brought into contact therewith. And an oxidant agent electrode 4 composed of a porous sintered body made of lithium doped nickel oxide and the like is disposed in the other surface of the electrolyte layer via an arrest layer 3. A channel 5 for supplying fuel gas including hydrogen gas is disposed on the back face side of the electrode 2, and a channel 6 for supplying oxidizing agent gas including oxygen is disposed on the back face side of an electrode 4. The arrest layer 3 is composed of oxide chemically stable against electrolyte such as alkaline carbonate, and of composite oxide, and is combined with oxide fine particles and ions floating and dispersing out of the electrode 4 so as to be formed into stable composite oxide, or so as to be adsorbed onto the surfaces of those oxide.
