MANUFACTURE OF SLIDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture a slider in which a magnetic disc is protected against being scratched. CONSTITUTION:A slider support supporting a slider 1 by means of a suspension 2 and an arm 3 is fixed to a rotary shaft 4 and then the slider 1 is pressed against an abrasive disc 5. Flaw is then sought in Z-direction on the slider 1 while rotating the abrasive disc 5 thus polishing the slider 1 on the surface opposed to a medium.
