Device for unrolling buried piping, particularly for power cables, in the form of a gantry with two uprights, characterised in that its uprights (11, 12) are respectively equipped with a fixed roller (22) and with a retractable roller (35), the latter being designed to assume, as desired, either an active position for guiding cables in interaction with the fixed roller or a position which is out of the way allowing the cable to escape under the action of its own weight.
