PURPOSE:To increase flame retardance and heat resistance by covering a conductor with a resin composition containing a specified amount of a halogen flame- retarder, a flame-resistant assistant, and a hydroaromatic hydrocarbon in a specified amount of polyolefin, then crosslinking it. CONSTITUTION:A conductor is covered with a resin composition containing 5-50 pts.wt. halogen flame-retarder, 5-50 pts.wt. flame-redardant assistant, and 0.1-30 pts.wt. hydroaromatic hydrocarbon in 100 pts.wt. polyolefin, then the resin composition is crosslinked. As the polyolefin, ethylene-propylene copolymer or ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer or the like is used. As the halogen flame- retarder, ethylene bistetrabromophthalimide, perchlorocyclopentadecane or the like is used. As the hydroaromatic hydrocarbon, tetralin, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8- octahydrophenanthrene or the like is used as an antioxidant for increasing heat resistance, Thereby, heat resistance and flame retardance are enhanced. |
