PURPOSE: To improve damper effects by constituting a damping means of flat metal springs arranged in such a state as freely deforming and absorbing the whole kinetic energy in a device interposing the damping means between a gear and an output means fixed to its boss. CONSTITUTION: In an electric window lifter for a vehicle, this reduction gear suited for a drive device for opening/closing window glass has an output member fitted in a bore formed in a hub 4 of a gear engaged with a worm. Flat metal springs 6a arranged around the hub 4 are provided in the inside surrounding the hub 4. The spring 6a is composed of two flexible branches 7, respective branches 7 are spiral, and a curved first part 8 extends across to the half or more of the circumference of the hub 4 so as to pressurize the hub 4. The end of the first part 8 is connected to a second curved part 9 via a folded part 11 and the extension part 12 in the other side of the second part 9 is engaged with a claw 14 arranged in the internal circumference of the gear 1. |
