The load-bearing or running roller is used for drawer guides and has a rotationally symmetrical roller element having a circumferential groove 3, in which a running ring 4 which projects by a small extent from the outer surface 5 of the roller is arranged. The material from which the running ring 4 is produced is elastically deformable and softer than the material of the roller element. The roller element itself is of two-part design. The two parts 1, 2 forming the roller element are welded to each other. The one part, designed as an annular element 2, together with an outer annular face whose plane is at right angles to the axis of the roller forms a side flank of the groove 3. The load-bearing or running roller has a single-piece hub 6 which runs through over its axial length. The parting plane E of the annular element 2 which passes through a section of the single- piece hub 6 is offset in order to form a step 7. The step 7 of this annular element 2, formed by the offset, is located underneath the groove base 8. <IMAGE> |
