PURPOSE:To provide the selective radio call signal receiver of high battery saving efficiency which judges the reception of data of different bit rate, and executes battery saving even if the data of the bit rate different from that of one's own receiver is received. CONSTITUTION:A receiving part 2 demodulates a carrier modulated by a selective call signal, and outputs a digital signal. A bit pattern detecting part 11 detects a predetermined bit pattern out of the digital signal. A control part 8 controls power supply to the receiving part 2 on the basis of the detected result of the bit pattern detecting part 11 in addition to the judged result of a comparator in a bit rate comparing part 5. |
