PURPOSE:To save electric power by intermettently executing a receiving operation till calling information is received between a master station and a slave station. CONSTITUTION:The slave station 2 consisting of a flow rate meter mainbody and the master station 1 executing data transmission/reception with the slave station 2 are provided so that calling information is transmitted from one of the slave station 2 and the master station 1 to the other and data is transmitted/ received between the both stations after receiving it by the other station in a radio communication method in a flow rate meter. The receiving operation till calling information is received is intermittently executed. Or, it is to be desired that the call originating operation of calling information continues at least over one cycle of the intermittent receiving operation in the other station in order to correctly receive calling information of one station by the other station in an intermittent receiving operation state. Therefore, the receiving operation till calling information is received is intermittently executed between the master station 1 and the slave station 2 so that power is remarkably saved in comparison with a case when the receiving operation is normally continued for receiving calling information. |
