PURPOSE:To easily set desired characteristics in a device for correcting the response characteristics of a reproducing system so as to let the response characteristics of the reproducing system coincide with the desired characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The desired characteristics, measured characteristics and correction characteristics are graphically displayed in a display part 40. An operator operates an operation part 38 while looking at the graph and sets the desired characteristics. When the desired characteristics are set, a correction characteristic calculating means 142 calculates the correction characteristics as a difference between the desired characteristics and the measured characteristics. When the correction characteristics are calculated, a corresponding equalizer filter coefficient is calculated in an equalizer filter coefficient calculating means 144, the coefficient is set to a convolution computing element 34 and an equalizer corresponding to the correction characteristics is constituted. |
