PURPOSE:To easily exchange a rotating polygon mirror and a lens as a unit when the rotating polygon mirror and the lens of a deflecting/scanning device are exchanged. CONSTITUTION:Light transmitting members 33, 37 and lenses 34, 35 are arranged on the optical path in an optical case 22 and made to be an optical unit 42 by covering them with a cover 41. On the other hand, a light transmitting member 32 and a rotating polygon mirror 30 are arranged on the optical path in a motor case 24 and made to be a rotation unit 44 by covering them with a cover 43. A protrusion 24a is provided on the lower part of the motor case 24, a socket 22b is provided on a flange 22a and by engaging them with each other like a faucet joint, the rotation unit 44 is positioned to the optical unit 42. |
