The control device (1) for oxidant air for a forced-air burner comprises a fan (3) capable of drawing air via an aspiration duct (4) and of feeding a burner (2) with oxidant air via a delivery duct, an adjustable head loss means (V) positioned in the aspiration duct (4), and a means of control for the head loss according to the flow of fuel supplied to the burner. The device (1) comprises means of control (C) of the speed of rotation of the fan (3) according to the head loss created by the adjustable head loss means (V) in such a manner that the speed of rotation of the fan (3) decreases when the head loss increases and vice versa.
