PURPOSE:To retain the adhesion property with a sintered body by forming a three-dimensional net-shaped matrix on a solid electrolyte sintered body with a ceramic having oxygen ion conductivity and then filling platinum into it so that they contact each other. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic with an oxygen ion conductivity, namely a three- dimensional net-shaped matrix, is formed on a solid electrolyte sintered body, for example with Y2O38mol modified ZeO2, etc., and then platinum is filled into the matrix so that the platinum contacts one another. A platinum powder, an organic platinum compound, or an organic platinum complex, resin, and a paste consisting of a solvent if required are applied to the sintered body or a green sheet for sintering for manufacturing and then are dried or are subjected to thermal decomposition without drying. At this time, a tervalent oxide powder and a quadrivalent metal ion liquid solution or quadrivalent oxide powder and tervalent metal ion liquid solution are added to the paste. Therefore, the ceramic with oxygen ion continuity prevents the platinum from being subjected to particle growth and from becoming large and preventing the adhesion force with the sintered body from being reduced. |
