PURPOSE:To make possible the debugging of a program even when a target system is not provided with all the input/output hardwares by performing an input/output function required for debugging with an input/output simulator virtually constructed on a computer. CONSTITUTION:The output connection part and input connection part of a connector 10 perform the exchange of data through an RS232C line with an input/output simulator composed of a software on a personal computer. On the other hand, since a microcomputer 20 delays read and write by using an acknowledge part until the operations of the output connection part and input connection part are completed, the input/output function realized in the manner of software can be connected with the bus in the manner of hardware of the microcomputer 20. Thus, the input/output function not provided for the target system can be executed by the personal computer 30, and the debugging of the software is make possible without waiting for the completion of the target system. |
