The invention relates to a distributor for fluid, especially pneumatic, in a fluid supply system. The distributor is of the type with switching provided by a device with a flat spool (1) in sealed sliding contact over a distributor element in the form of a flat plate (2) provided with fluid inlet and outlet orifices (11-15), this spool comprising cells (17, 18) for establishing communication paths between the orifices of the plate and thus paths for supplying the system through the distributor, and being mounted so that it can move in a hollow body, the spool being pressed against the plate by a force generated by the fluid to be distributed let into a pressurising chamber (4) inside the body (13) above the spool (1). The distributor is characterised in that it includes means for bringing the pressurising chamber (4) into communication exclusively with the orifice (11-15) receiving the fluid with the highest pressure when several orifices are being fed. The invention can be used for pneumatic fluid distributors. <IMAGE>
