<p>A process for sterilizing liquids involves first dispersing the liquid, saturating it with ozone and subjecting it to turbulence. The liquid is then simultaneously agitated and irradiated with ultraviolet light. A sterile gas or gas mixture is introduced into the liquid at the same time as the ozone. The proposed device for sterilizing the liquid comprises a pipe (1), one section (4) of which is made of a material transparent to ultraviolet radiation and has ultraviolet sources mounted within it. The device is provided with an injection device (8) at the inlet section (2) of the tube (1). The intake nozzle (9) of the injection device is connected to the ozone source and a separator (11) mounted on the outlet section of the pipe. The section (4) of the pipe contains at least one solid body (12) made of an ultraviolet-transparent material.</p> |
