<p>The device according to the invention comprises a strip of a tough and ductile material, which can be secured to one (2a) of the ends (2a, 2b) of the ligament (2), and means (5, 6) integral with the strip (4), for inserting and retaining the other end (2b) of the ligament (2). The strip (4) can be inserted together with the ligament (2), behind the spinous process of one of the two vertebrae delimiting the joint to be treated and can be folded on either side of said joint to form a loop which holds in place the inserting and retaining means (5, 6). The latter means are capable of receiving the other end (2b) of the ligament (2) after fitting about the other spinous process, while allowing sliding of this end (2b) in its insertion direction and while preventing it from sliding in the opposite direction.</p> |
