PURPOSE:To provide thermosetting castable refractory which has no setting performance at ordinary temperature even when previously kneaded castable refractory is carried in the construction site and which has application performance suitable for application methods, such as a casting application, and after application, is hardened for a short time, and when used, shows no lowering of heat resistance of matrix due to a binder, and has high corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:To 100 pts.wt. of fire resisting aggregate whose particle size is adjusted are added 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. (as solid content) of synthetic resin emulsion as a thermosensitive binding agent and alkylene oxide adduct of alkylphenolformalin condensate and/or polysiloxane base alkylene oxide adduct as a thermosensitive gelling agent. The amount of the thermosensitive gelling agent is 1.0-50.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. (as solid content) of the synthetic resin emulsion. Thus thermosetting castable refractory and its application method are provided. |
