Before turning off a switching element (SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4, SW5, or SW6) at the time of switching the phase (R2, S2, and T2) of a power source to which a regenerated current is fed back, the switching element to be turned on next is turned on. As a result, the phase terminals of the power source are short-circuited with each other when the phases are changed. However, the voltage fluctuation is small since the voltage of the phase whose switching elements are to be turned off and the voltage of the phase whose switching elements are to be turned on are nearly equal to each other. Therefore, the current fluctuation is also small and the distortion of the power supply voltage can be suppressed to a small value. |
