摘要 <p>A composite material, presenting a reinforcing filler embedded in a polymer matrix consisting of a product of polycondensation with aldehyde, such as phenolic or melamine resin, is produced by sizing the reinforcing filler, consisting for example of glass, carbon, aramidic or metal fiber, with a sizing agent containing a filming agent selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, polyamide, polyurea, polyamino-amide, polyamine and polycarbodiimide; by impregnating the reinforcing filler so sized with a resin in the fluid state; and by polymerizing the resin by polycondensation in the presence of aldehyde to obtain a solid matrix adhering perfectly to the filler. Polyurethane sizing may be performed when spinning the fiber, or after spinning, prior to impregnation with the resin, and after first removing any spinning sizing agent.</p>
