<p>A method of applying a glaze to a ceramic article, the method comprising applying a dry particulate glaze to the article by electrostatic application and retaining the glaze on the article prior to firing. The glaze is retained on the article before firing either by providing a thermoplastics material in the glaze which is melted on to the article, or by providing a moisture actuable material in the glaze.</p> |
