FLOATING ROOF

A floating roof (14) for use in a storage tank (10) for petrochemical products includes an outer rim (16) and a seal (20) for sealing the space between the rim and the inner tank wall (18). Also included is a manway assembly (27) for providing worker access to the underside of the roof and bleeder vent assemblies (28) for venting air and other gases to the atmosphere. The roof includes pontoons (26) which are coupled to girders (32) by mounting arrangements which include one-piece saddles.
