A guiding system controls the drives depending on the drawn paper. In a process for synchronously feeding paper from rolls of paper or the like from a sheet dispenser to the feeding chute of a copying machine, the sheet dispenser and the copying machine are coupled to each other by the paper itself, since the paper is fed depending on the traction exercised on the paper.
