Differential case for the final drive of a motor vehicle

A differential case is constructed from a number of parts made from deep-drawn steel sheets of good deformability. A conical supporting part holds the differential pin and one of the differential gears. A cover inserted into an opening in the casing supports a further differential gear. The parts of the case and a driving gear mounted thereon are each connected permanently to one another. This case is of simple construction, rigid and can be manufactured efficiently.
