The leakage detection system detects any gas contained in the circulated fluid due to leakage by expansion of a fluid sample, with the released gas vented via a gas detector, for identifying the type and quantity of gas. The fluid sample can be expanded under normal pressure, or under a reduced pressure, with the expansion interval dependent on the sample fluid quantity, the extracted fluid returned to the same fluid line after expansion, or the sample extraction and return effected via separate lines. |
