RESIN-COATED PAPER

A resin-coated paper having on one side thereof a first resin layer comprising a resin composition having a critical shear rate of 10 sec<-1> or less and prepared by melt mixing 90-65 parts by weight of a high-density polyethylene resin having a melt flow rate of 10.0-40.0 g/10 min and a density of 0.960 g/cm<3> or above and 10-35 parts by weight of a low-density or medium-density polyethylene resin having a melt flow rate of 0.2-2 g/10 min, a density of 0.935 g/cm<3> or less, a content of fractions having a molecular weight of 500 thousand or above of 10 wt.% or above and a critical shear rate of 0.5 sec<-1> or less. This paper has a good moldability at the resin layer, is excellent in the adhesion between the resin layer and the base paper, and little forms gel.
