In a quick-fit union (1-7), the tell-tale indicating the connection status consists of a component (20) housed in an opening (18) in the female part (1) of the union and held therein by an axially flexible tab (27) displaced by a collar (14) of the male part (7) of the union when the latter becomes locked.
