PURPOSE: To simplify structure of an overflow valve arranged in a pressure regulator by constructing the overflow valve as a slider valve. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle type casing 2 is divided into a first chamber 6 and a second chamber 7 by means of a diaphragm 5 firmly bound to an outside edge part. Along a pipe 10 supplying fuel into the first chamber 6 under pressure, a diaphragm action type closing member in an overflow valve 37 is guided. The overflow valve 37 is constructed as a slider valve, in which a sleeve type slider 30 connected to the diaphragm 5 is provided with at least one control opening 40 cooperating with a control groove 38 in the pipe 10. The control opening 40 is opened to the second chamber 7. Therefore, an unavoidable gap between the slider 30 and the pipe 10 causes no disturbance in discharge of fuel. |
