PURPOSE:To transport and keep a paper buffer material without separating the same and making the same bulky by mutually fitting the ridges and grooves of roller meters and forming intermittent recessed parts to the side surfaces of the ridges and using the circumferencial edge parts of the ridges and grooves as cutting-in blades to insert a paper material to be processed in the gap between the roller members to form cut-in parts and connection parts and pulling the processed paper material to form stitches. CONSTITUTION:Square ridges and grooves 3, 4 respectively formed in definite width are provided to a pair of horizontal long roller members 1, 2 made of steel so as to be mutually meshed at a proper depth. Cutting-in blades 1', 2' are formed to the peripheral edge parts of the circumferential surfaces R of the ridges and grooves to form intermittent parts 6 molded in the same direction to the circumfernetial surfaces R and the ridge and groove blades of both roller members 1, 2 are mutually meshed. When one or two paper materials P to be processed such as newspapers are inserted in the gap between the roller members 1, 2, cut-in parts 7 and connection part 71 (72...7n) are alternately formed to the paper materials along the ridge and groove blades 1'. Next, the paper materials are pulled in the direction right-angled to the cutting-in length direction to form stitches corresponding to cutting-in length. |
