PURPOSE: To obtain a pellet type feed which is free from a loss due to breaking, etc., by blending a specific amount of smashed binding agent into power feed, steaming them so as to form and transferring the pellet feed in the stated of a high temperature to a cooler so as to cool and dry. CONSTITUTION: Main blending feed material such as corn, flour, grounds, sugar, corn powder, millets are smashed and mixed with an antibiotic agent, vitamine, mineral, etc., to make powder feed. After mixing a smashed binding agent to this power feed by the blending ratio of 50 to 3,000 g per a ton of feed, steam at 65 to 95 deg.C is added to this mixed material and this is extruded and cut to obtain pellets. Next, the pellet type feed in the stated of a high temperature formed like this is transferred to a cooler to be cooled and dried to obtain the desired pellet type feed which is hard in its binding state and prevents the waste and loss of feed due to the breaking, etc., which conventionally happens at the time of handling and storing. |
