PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a polygonal cylindrical object by providing respective mechanisms taking up the sheet like article caught by the catching means provided to the side surface of a rotary body having a polygonal cross section to arrange the same to a set position and applying an adhesive to the sheet like article and separating the formed polygonal cylindrical object in an axial core direction. CONSTITUTION:Suction holes 44, 48a, 48b are provided to a rotary body 40 and corrugated cardboard 102 is sucked by a suction pad 26 to be horizontally moved to the right by a horizotal moving cylinder 18. Next, auxiliary cylinders 24a, 24b are shortened and a sizing press roller 80 is allowed to fall to grasp the corrugated cardboard 102 between the press roller 80 and a sizing roller 70. Subsequently, the corrugated cardboard 102 is sucked to the suction hole 44 and the horizontal moving cylinder 18 is driven to the left and an end bending roller 88 is allowed to fall to bend the corrugated cardboard 102. After the corrugated cardboard is successively wound around the outer periphery of the rotary body 40, a pushing-out member 34 is moved by a horizotal pushing- out cylinder 30 and a square cylindrical object is pushed by a longitudinal member 32b to be separated from the rotary body 40. |
