PURPOSE: To provide a rupture panel capable of being surely ruptured and opened with the predetermined differential pressure and enduring the pressure- vacuum cycle without generating the initial rupture or the other bad influences, by mounting a domed portion connected to a peripheral flat flange portion and a slit. CONSTITUTION: A rupture panel 12 is mounted inside of an assembly 10, and a recessed side of the rupture panel 12 is opposite to an outlet supporting member 30. As a gasket member 26 inwardly extends over an intermittent slit 20, the differential pressure to be added to the rupture panel 12 presses the gasket member 26 to the rupture panel 12, and the slit 20 is sealed. When the counter- differential pressure is added to the rupture panel 12, the gasket member 28 is pressed to the rupture panel 12, and the slit 20 is sealed. When the differential pressure is added to the recessed side of the rupture panel 12, the rupture panel 12 is placed in a tensile state, and the tensile shearing force is added to a rupture tab 21. When the differential pressure reaches to the predetermined pressure higher than the strength of the rupture tab 21, a rupture part is suspended from a hinge region 24 and opened. |
